A TALE OF MYSTERY AND MURDER IN AMERICA'S HEARTLAND

 

A businessman abruptly vanishes from a rural low town in November 1940, never to be seen again. Three decades later, a troubled detective is assigned to investigate the suspicious death of a Vietnam Warveteran. His inquiry is hindered by politics in a town divided by the war. As the detective uncovers clues to the veteran's death, he unearths chilling details related to the unsolved 1940s disappearance. While investigating, the detective meets a teenage boy struggling through adolescence, and they both find themselves entangled in solving the town's dark mysteries.
